FACILITIES
The campsite offers an authentic camping experience. There are no set pitches. Just turn up and pick your spot.
We are a grass site set up for tents and don’t have hard standings.
We can accept a limited number of small campervans (max 2m x 5m) NO MOTORHOMES please.
Access to the site is via a narrow entrance with a hump bridge. Longer vehicles risk damage.
Showers, toilets, a washing up area, bins and drinking water are provided.
There is a plug for hairdryers in the ladies for 50p. No tokens are needed for the showers.
A freezer is available for ice packs.
Langdale Co-op, the corner shop is in Chapel Stile village – less than one mile away and next to the pub.
Mobile reception in the valley can be unreliable. There is no wifi or electric hook up on site.
Please bring everything you need with you.
ARRIVAL TIMES
New arrivals are welcome on site between 2pm and 8pm. There are no exceptions to this. Please check in and pay for camping BEFORE you pitch your tent.
DEPARTURE TIMES
Your pitch must be vacated by 12 noon on the day of your departure.
QUIET
We are a quiet site between 11pm and 7am. Please be considerate of other campers around you.
FIRES/BBQs
We allow contained raised fire pits and barbecues until 11pm but you must bring your own including wood. Campfires are not allowed.
PARKING
You can park beside your tent on some of our fields except in adverse weather conditions. The other fields have parking bays next to them and cannot be accessed by car.
DOGS
We allow dogs on site but they must be kept under control. Please clean up after your dog immediately.
