Intro to Scrambling

For mountain walkers looking to progress on to grade I scrambles. This course looks at the necessary skills for managing your safety in steep and exposed terrain, allowing you to take new and interesting lines to the summits.

This is an unroped scrambling course at grade I

Moving unroped in Grade I terrain

Route finding
Assessing risk and making judgement
Spotting and looking after team members
