Training in Concentration

Normally our peace of mind changes quickly and our distractions scatter our energy in dozens of directions, exhausting us making us feel like we are working hard but getting nowhere. To experience real peace of mind and overcome our distractions, it is essential that we learn the joyful practice of training in concentration.

In this special meditation course, time tested Buddhist methods for meditation and training the mind will be introduced as well as a home meditation program that will enable you to continue to progress after the course. Following this will be a self-guided tranquil abiding silent meditation retreat at Kadamapa Meditation Center North Carolina May 15-17.

10:00 – 11:15am: Teaching and guided meditation
11:15 – 11:45am: Break and refreshments
11:45am – 1pm: Teaching and guided meditation
