Riso Printing Workshop: Perfectly Imperfect Prints

Create your own multicolor prints at this hands-on workshop where creativity meets happy accidents. Risograph (Riso) printing is a vibrant, high-speed printmaking method — think digital meets silkscreen — known for bold colors, unique textures, and delightfully unpredictable results. Get inky, make some magic, and explore the beauty of "perfectly imperfect" design. This workshop welcomes all experience levels, perfect for seasoned artists or those curious to try something new.

Hosted by USC School of Visual Art and Design and the Columbia Museum of Art. Taught by artist and educator Stephanie Nace. All supplies and equipment provided. Ages 15 and up. Dress for a mess. This class will be held at the USC School of Visual Art and Design. Registrants will be emailed with details on meeting room and parking.

$220 / $175 for members. Priority registration for members only through Wednesday, June 18.

Stephanie Nace holds a B.F.A. in graphic design from Penn State University and an M.F.A. in visual communication design from Kent State University. A professor in graphic design and illustration at the University of South Carolina for over 22 years, she is an award-winning designer and educator. Her research focuses on conceptual development, experimental typography, letterpress, and three-dimensional design forms. Nace also serves as the faculty coordinator and creative director of The Design Studio, a student-run, faculty-led agency.
