About the event

Remove invasive plants at Gans Creek Recreation Area

The Sierra Club Mid-Missouri Group work day to remove invasive plants will be held at Gans Creek Recreation Area, Saturday, June 14, from 9:00-11:00 AM. Help restore a nice glade in a sensitive natural area.

Meet at 3350 E. Gans Road at the far end of the parking lot. Wear work clothes, bring drinking water, and bring sun and tick protection. Also bring gloves and loppers & pruning saws if you have them. We will also have some gloves and tools available.
