This program allows kids to learn how paper would have been made by people in the past, including the different methods they would have used. After, make your own sheet of recycled paper with paper pulp using a deckle and frame. You will get a chance to decorate your sheet with colorful paper confetti and wildflower seeds, before taking it home to dry.
This program is for ages 6 – 18 years old, however, younger children can participate. All supplies for this hands-on program are provided. The program will take place in the outdoor covered breezeway of Parker Annex Archaeology Center. Parents and guardians must remain with minors at all times.
