Join Us for an Exciting Open Climb at the Scouting Adventure Center!
The Great Rivers Council is thrilled to invite climbers of all ages and skill levels to experience the thrill of climbing on the state-of-the-art Veteran's United Foundation Climbing Wall! Standing 26 feet tall and 40 feet wide, this indoor facility offers something for everyone, from beginners to experienced climbers.
Event Details:
Dates: First Saturday of every month except for January and July
Location: Scouting Adventure Center
Address: 6081 W Van Horn Tavern Rd, Columbia, MO 65203
Session Times:
Session 1: 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM
Session 2: 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM
Session 3: 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM
Session 4: 2:30 PM - 4:00 PM
Cost:
$15 per participant (includes all climbing equipment: harnesses, helmets, and climbing shoes).
*Note: If you have specific shoe size needs, we advise bringing a pair of soft-soled tennis shoes to ensure a comfortable climb.
What to Wear:
Clothing suitable for climbing, Shirts long enough to be tucked in.
*Essential: Please remember to bring socks for equipment use!
On-Site Support: Climbing instructors will be available throughout the event to assist participants and provide guidance, ensuring a safe and enjoyable climbing experience for everyone.
