Back II Basics: Acrylic Painting

Join us for a 2-hour beginner acrylic course! In this course, you will learn the basics of acrylic painting including brush care, color theory, brushwork, gradients, and blending techniques while relaxing in our cozy, farmstead studio. Enjoy the scenes and sounds of a lively farm full of chickens, ducks, goats, and rabbits as you create your very own color wheel and complete an acrylic painting challenge using only four colors using your new skills! Don’t worry, you will NAIL it!

Artful Transformations is dedicated to teaching you skills that you can use to create other artistic creations in or outside of the studio. To alleviate some of that blank canvas anxiety (I still get it too!), you will be provided with practice paper to test out your skills before you dive into the blank canvas. We want your experience to be relaxing and enjoyable.

All supplies will be provided to create two 8x10" canvas panel paintings (color wheel & your acrylic primary color challenge). Bottled water, coffee, tea, and cocoa will be provided. Outside food and drinks are welcome.

$45/person (due at registration)
