A multi-disciplinary dancer working with traditional and experimental flamenco as well as dance theatre and performance, Noemí trained in traditional flamenco in Seville with her mentor, Yolanda Heredia, for six years and had classical training at the Elmhurst Ballet School and the Central School of Ballet in the UK.
Born and raised in Seville, Noemí has performed at many traditional flamenco venues in Spain, including Tablao Arenal, La Casa de la Guitarra, Peña la Perla de Cadiz, Peña Niño del Alfalfa and Café Zyriab, as well as on CanalSur TV, as a guest artist with the Manuel Montero Trio and, more recently, in London with Identidades.
Her contemporary works have been showcased at presitgious venues like Sadler's Wells, Teatro de la Maestranza de Sevilla, and Wales Millennium Centre, as well as at festivals such as Flamenco y Mestizos (Madrid), Huellas Danza (Huelva), Coetani Festival for Experimental Flamenco (Athens), Dancenet Sweden, Vertebración XI (Seville), Flamenco Fredag (Sweden), Buxton International Arts Festival (UK), Dartington Arts (UK), and Contemporary Dance Series Corto y Bailo (Seville).
