About the event

History of Fashion Through Buttons
Inspired by her work with Joan Lindsay, Simone Kincade will tell the story of fashion using an extensive collection of buttons and historical notes. Simone Kincade will expand on the "Buttoned Up: Idaho State Button Show" on exhibit at MONI by describing how this small fashion element reflects big historical events and personalities, including the Perry Expedition, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Campfire Girls, and Teddy Roosevelt.
