"Stories and Songs of Physical and Spiritual Resistance During the Shoah" with Rabbi Moshe Halfon

Join us for an evening of remembrance and resilience.

In "We Fought Back: Stories and Songs of Physical and Spiritual Resistance During the Shoah (Holocaust)", Rabbi Moshe Halfon shares stories of courage from Holocaust ghettos, camps, and forests across Eastern Europe. From armed uprisings to personal acts of defiance, these stories illuminate the many ways Jews resisted Nazi oppression.

As a special addition, Rabbi Halfon will perform songs sung by Jewish partisans—freedom fighters who resisted the Nazis—offering a musical window into their strength and spirit, in both Yiddish and English.

This program is presented with support from Wyoming Humanities, in conjunction with the Americans and the Holocaust exhibit.
