Devils Tower Advanced Youth Climbing Camp

This educational climbing camp is open to students who have demonstrated competency with fundamental climbing safety systems and traditional crack climbing techniques. Students will build off of these foundations as they are introduced to multipitch climbing systems and climb larger terrain. Compared to our regular climbing camp curriculum, more emphasis will be placed on the mental over the physical aspects of climbing, focusing in particular on technical systems, risk assessment, route planning, and decision making while climbing taller (albeit moderate) terrain. As such this camp is more suitable for youth in the 13-18 year old age range with relatively high levels of climbing fitness.
