Unleash Your Creativity: Learn the Art of Leatherworking
Ready to dive into a hands-on craft that’s as timeless as it is rewarding? Whether you’re a total beginner or looking to expand your skills, this immersive leatherworking class will guide you through the essentials of working with leather — and help you create something truly unique.
You’ll discover:
The different types of leather and their uses
How to “read a hide” and choose the right materials
Cutting, pattern making, and both hand and machine sewing techniques
The tools, glues, threads, and tricks of the trade that bring leather projects to life
Work at Your Own Pace
This is a self-paced class designed to fit your schedule and creative flow. You can join for one day or two days — whatever you need to bring your project to life. Start a small custom piece like a pouch or purse, repair an item, or continue a work-in-progress. Chris will reach out before class to help you plan a project that excites and inspires you.
If you don’t finish your piece during the class, no worries — you’ll have the opportunity to return in September when Chris is back, and pick up right where you left off.
You’ll also get access to her personal list of trusted leather and supply sources, so you can continue creating with confidence at home.
*This is a two-day class*
August 8th: 10am - 5pm
August 9th: 10am - 5pm
Tuition: $195
Includes access to all basic tools, supplies, and some leather to get you started. For more complex projects, Chris will help you source any additional materials during our pre-class call.
Let’s bring your leatherworking ideas to life — at your own pace, and with plenty of support!
