Join us every 4th Monday of the month at 6:00 PM for Threading Together, a beginner-friendly sewing group where creativity meets community. This hands-on class is perfect for anyone who wants to learn how to alter, repair, or upcycle clothing in a fun and supportive environment.
Cost: $5 per class
Location: Coalinga’s Gold Star Wellness Center
Whether you’re hemming pants, taking in a dress, fixing a zipper, or learning simple tailoring skills, you’ll get guidance and encouragement every step of the way.
Important Note:
Participants must be comfortable using a sewing machine.
If you’re new to sewing, a Sewing Certification Course ($25) is required before attending — this ensures everyone can safely and confidently use our equipment.

Bring clothing or fabric pieces you’d like to alter, repair, or transform, and learn practical skills you can use again and again.
