The loving partner. The listening friend. The grateful daughter or son. The productive employee. The productive manager. The law-abiding citizen. What roles do you play in your daily life?
Each of our roles puts us in different boxes. And of course, we need these roles, even their limitations. But can we ask ourselves ”𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗮𝗺 𝗜, 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗜’𝗺 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝘆 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲𝘀?” Can we allow some time to question ourselves, knowing that we won't find definite answers?
How would your body answer these questions? What stories would your thumb tell you, if you’d listen? What’s about to manifest through you?
𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗶𝗳:
- You need some time & space to dedicate to yourself;
- You resonate with artistic methods;
- You want to explore and reconnect with your body through movement;
- Have zero or a lot of experience with our methods;
- You are open to experiment.
When reason reaches its limits, movement and art can take you further. We want to offer you a context to explore all of this and whatever might come up through movement and writing.

The lab will take place in a quiet and picturesque village that invites us to slow down and be present.
The program will be held in English. However, do not allow your English level to stop you from participating, we’ll be able to provide Romanian or Hungarian translation. We’ll find a way! Also, you will be able to write in any language you want.

Andalusian theater practitioner, co-founder of the Spiri2Art Center in Cluj-Napoca (Romania) and Grupo LIM&TE (Lab. Internacional de Movimiento TEatral) in Andalusia (Spain), he currently runs TransylvaniaTheaterLab, a platform for research, training and creation. With a vast international career as actor and theater researcher, mainly in the frame of Movement Theater. More than 30 years “sur les planches” / “sobre las tablas” / “on stage”… have taken him through a vast diversity of “theater languages”. In recent years, Paco has focused his practice, through TransylvaniaTheaterLab (TTL), on the transmission and investigation of the Arts of Movement, organizing and designing creative labs, workshops and creative residencies ("To Be & NOT To Be" summer 2022; "Please, Feel Free NOT to Find Your Place" summer 2023. His professional encounter with Edo Gergely, in the field of phenomenological psychology, and with Yves Marc and his approach to the arts of movement nourishes his current steps.
𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗮 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝘂𝗿 is a playwright, trainer and youth worker. She works in Romania and Moldova. In her writing, she is interested in the overlaps and spaces between personal and political, physical vs. emotional vs. rationalized experiences, and abstract vs. embodied concepts.
Natalia coordinates theater and writing workshops for teenagers and adults in Moldova and Romania. She creates spaces allowing participants to unfold their experiences, ask questions about themselves and the world, and transform their explorations in texts or theater performances.
