Fie că ești un jucător experimentat sau abia ai descoperit jocurile de societate, evenimentul nostru Meet & Play - Editia Jocuri Antice este ocazia perfectă pentru a-ți face noi prieteni 🤝🏻 și a învăța aceste jocuri fascinante cu ajutorul unor replici artizanale din materiale organice (piele naturală, sticlă, lemn). 🧩
De ce jocuri antice?
Izvoarele istorice păstrate arată că oamenii au jucat jocuri de societate cel puțin din Egipt și Mesopotamia antică. Pe lângă încântarea pe care ne-o aduc și astăzi astfel de jocuri de masă, prin spiritul competitiv și combinația dintre pricepere și noroc pe care o speculează, ele aveau și alte funcții în trecutul îndepărtat. Unele antrenau mintea în gândirea strategică a conflictelor armate, altele imitau cursele, contând cine traversează mai rapid tabla de joc sau cine ajunge cu ele într-un anumit loc, iar altele simbolizau etapele călătoriei sufletului după moarte. Se presupune că unele ajutau și la ghicirea viitorului.

Why ancient games?
Historical sources indicate that people have played board games since at least ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia. Beyond the delight these games still bring today, through competitive spirit and a blend of skill and luck, they served other functions in the distant past. Some trained their minds in strategic thinking for warfare, while others mimicked races, focusing on who crossed the board fastest or reached a certain point first. Others symbolized the stages of the soul’s journey after death. It’s even believed that some games were used to predict the future.
