From Feldenkrais to Contact Improvisation is an exploration journey from inner sensing to shared movement.
Beginning with Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement lesson and building on this embodied experience, we will transition into Contact Improvisation scores that invite consciousness in movement, shared balance, and spontaneous creative play.
Whether you are new to these practices or experienced in one (or both), this workshop invites you to connect with yourself, your partner, and the space between through movement that is curious, responsive, and alive.

A Contact Improvisation class is a social and physical dance practice where participants explore movement together through shared touch, weight, and momentum. The class involves improvising with one or more partners, focusing on responding to each other's movements in a fluid, supportive, and mindful way. It emphasizes trust, physical communication, and playful exploration of balance, rolling, sliding, and counterbalance. Suitable for all levels, Contact Improvisation classes foster presence, creativity, and connection without any set choreography, encouraging dancers to discover spontaneous movement and dialogue through contact.
