Our evening kicks off with a trolley bar hop through some of the city's most spirited establishments. Imagine: a conga line of Mrs. Ropers descending upon unsuspecting pubs! We'll be visiting 4 unique bars, each offering great vibes and plenty of photo opportunities. So don't be afraid to get bold with your bouffant and bedazzled caftans! Think big hair, bigger jewelry, and even bigger personalities!
Transportation: Vinnie the Trolley will shuttle our group between bars, ensuring safe fun-filled entertainment along the way.
***Ankeny Helens, we will be departing from Whiskey River at 6pm for Miss Kitty’s if you want to hop aboard. Heck, we might even bring you back!! LOL
Attire: Mrs. Roper, of course! Embrace the floral prints, the flowing fabrics, and the flamboyant accessories. Guys are encouraged to join the fun with their own interpretations of Roper-inspired attire (Think Larry, Mr. Furley, Stanley, or even the bearded Helen!)
Line Dancing Lessons: Strut Your Stuff!
That’s right Helens, we’re gonna boogie, in lines! We begin our adventure at Miss Kittys in Clive for a line dancing lesson led by a professional instructor. Whether you're a seasoned dancer or have two left feet, you'll be sure to have a blast learning some classic line dances. Get ready to Electric Slide and Boot Scootin' Boogie your way into the night! Once we get our GROOVE ON, we’ll Shake our Booties on down to Captain Roy’s on the river for some ocean front, well at least some riverfront action!! Next stop, Kelly’s Little Nipper for some patio playtime! But wait, our last destination will be the one and only Reagle Beagle style!! We’re gonna party likes it’s 1979 all over again, baby!! We’ll return to Miss Kitty’s at 11(ish)...
Music: Expect a mix of country, pop, and disco tunes to keep the energy high and the dance floor packed.
