True Crime Book Signing with Ret. Criminologist Kelli Martin
Join local-area author and retired criminologist Kelli Martin for an evening of true crime exploration as she signs copies of her gripping novel, Homicide in the Hood: Murders that Haunt a Small Town Girl. This compelling book delves into real-life unsolved murders in Hood County, offering readers an homage to these forgotten mothers & daughters. The unsolved cases are now being worked by law enforcement.

Martin was formerly an adult probation officer for Johnson County in the late 90s and early 2000s before leaving the department to teach at the University level.
