Woodworking Class- Make Your Own Reamer

Come learn green woodworking and be a part of revitalizing this nearly lost skill! One skill that is invaluable to woodworkers is making your own tools. Whether you've just started your woodworking journey or have been making chairs for awhile, come take a day to build your very own chair reamer. The reamer is used to transform a cylindrical hole into a tapered mortise, the most important joint in chair making. All materials will be provided, as will detailed instruction by Chris from Bucksaw Woodworks. All you need to bring is a lunch, water, and a willingness to learn!
This class is for ages 14+. The cost for this event is $90 which must be paid at the time of registration. Advance registration is required before June 26th; call 706.746.2141 to register.
