Ready to gear up and see what it’s really like to be part of a fire department? Camp Blaze isn’t your average summer camp — it’s a two-day, action-packed experience designed for middle school students who are up for a challenge.
🗓 When:
Thursday, June 19 & Friday, June 20
⏰ 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
(Arrive by 7:45 a.m. – Pick-up by 12:00 p.m.)
👨🚒 **What to Expect:**
This isn’t sitting in a classroom — you’ll be moving, training, learning, and leading. We’ll show you what it’s really like to be a firefighter with Cleveland Fire Department.
- Run real drills with actual gear
- Learn fire safety and rescue tactics
- Work with professional firefighters and junior firefighter mentors
- Build teamwork, leadership, and confidence
- Try your skills in hands-on scenarios we face every day
💥 **Water Day on Friday!**
You’ve earned it — day two wraps up with a full-on Water Day! Pack your swim gear and prepare to cool off.
🥪 **Food Stuff**
We’ll have snacks both days. Make sure you eat breakfast before camp starts — you’ll need the energy. Lunch is provided on Friday for you and your family.
🧥 **What to Wear:**
- Closed-toe shoes and socks are a must
- Dress for the weather and bring a light jacket if needed
- Pack swimwear for Friday’s Water Day
🚑 **Safety Info:**
We’ve got trained medical staff on site, but we can’t give out meds. If anything serious happens, we’ll follow emergency protocols and contact your parent or guardian right away.

We’re only accepting 25 middle school students, and Camp Blaze is 100% FREE — so don’t wait.
