Lilac Festival Day 1

Come join all the fun activities we have planned for Day 1 of Claremore Main Street's Inaugural Lilac Festival. Step back in time with us to the turn of the century as we re-live the days that Lynn Riggs wrote about in his epic play, Green Grow the Lilacs. Our festival will focus on Claremore's rich Cherokee Nation heritage, and will celebrate our early history. A sampling of activities include Food Trucks, Street Vendors, Stick-ball/Lacrosse Exhibition, DJ music with line dancing, Ribbon Skirt Fashion Show, Pony Rides, Artisans and all kinds of Lilac-themed gifts, drinks and discounts to shoppers.
