Needle Felt Marginalia

👉 Come and get crafty with history – because the margins were always more fun than the main text!

Join fibre artist Sarah Richards for a playful day of needle-felting medieval marginalia – those cheeky doodles monks once slipped into manuscripts.

Using wool, colour, and a little bit of mischief, you’ll bring to life the curious hares, oddball rabbits, and bizarre beasts that danced in the margins of history.

No experience needed – just imagination and a love of the delightfully strange. You’ll go home with your very own 3D woollen creature and a whole new appreciation for medieval wit!
