Discover the magical world of moths and other nocturnal insects. Ohio is home to over 3,000 different species of moths, rarely seen by most humans, but vital to our local environment. We will learn about local moths and their behaviors, then hunt for species on a specially lit screen!
About Our Speaker
Sarah Kent is an award-winning naturalist, published entomologist, and currently serves as the executive director for GroundworkORV. She is dedicated to advancing food sovereignty, fostering life skill development, and ensuring safe access to green spaces for the Black community. In her spare time she enjoys creating art (@keepitwildcreations), baking, gardening, foraging, and exploring Cincinnati!
