Second Saturday Simple Serve – October 11th
This month, we’re rallying around Paula J.—a faith-filled widow who, since the untimely death of her husband, just hasn’t been able to keep up with some of the physical upkeep of her home that her husband used to handle. On Saturday, October 11th (8AM–Noon), we’re going to show up with love, tools, and our hands & feet to help complete some miscellaneous "honey-do" projects that need attention.
Here’s the plan:
Location: 4307 Delridge Dr. Cincinnati, OH 45205 (West Price Hill, edge of Delhi Township)
- Coffee & donuts to kick off at 8AM
-Work projects are a combination of indoor & outdoor as listed below:
Fence line clean up of overgrown foliage & removal
Fence repair - 1 upper pole bent from fallen tree
Rock wall removal and ground repair
Attic insulation replacement in one area
Tool room organized
- Exterior cleanup: trimming, brush clearing, W**d eating, hedge trimming, debris removal
- Tools needed: sawyers, brush pullers, W**d eaters, hedge trimmers, loppers, shears, basic yard cleanup tools
- Lunch provided after the work is done around NOON
What to bring: water bottle, camp chair, gloves, closed toe shoes, hearing & eye protection, your favorite yard and hand tools that are related to the work described above.
We need hands-on volunteers—whether you can run a W**d eater, pull brush, or simply bring energy and encouragement, there’s a place for you on the team!
