Preservation in the Park- Latonia Race Track

Join Cincinnati Preservation to hear about the stories that the historic sites and structures of Cincinnati tell. Come to the Porch in Washington Park, grab a drink from the bar, sit back and let us tell you a story. This season Preservation in the Park will delve into the stories of places associated with Sports and Recreation.

Heather Churchman of Covington Uncovered will talk about the Latonia Racetrack, which was located in Latonia, now part of Covington Kentucky. The Thoroughbred horse racing facility was opened in 1883 and closed during the Great Depression in 1939.
