My Cool Dad Painting Party

Join me this Father's Day for a special portrait painting session! Kids ages 6-14 will use a combination of templates and painting techniques to make an awesome painting of their Dad, Grandpa, father figure, or whomever you'd like to give a priceless piece of art to. Sunglasses optional, but they do make it easier! My 10 year old thought that part was the best when he made this one. :)

After signing up, you'll receive an email and get to send over a photo that I will have printed in advance to fit nicely on an 11x14 canvas. Throughout the event, I'll show kids how to cut out and trace parts of the face to make this portrait turn out mostly to scale. Kids who prefer to do it their own way or make creative color choices will have freedom too!

Allies Pub will include a drink for your young artist, and if you'd like to have a parent or other encouraging adult also attend, that's highly encouraged too!
