Ladies Who Lit High Tea & Discussion of BUNNY by Mona Awad

This month, Ladies Who Lit is reading Bunny by Mona Awad and gathering for a "Through the Looking Glass" inspired high tea discussion (just DON'T call it a Smut Salon!). Due to popular demand, we've added a second date: Wednesday, 6/25.

Awad’s Bunny is a contemporary, surrealist reimagining of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, set in the elite world of an East Coast Ivy League graduate program. When "outsider" Samantha Heather Mackey is invited to join a rich-girl clique wherein everyone calls each other "Bunny," she quickly becomes entangled in their twisted, half-imagined, half-real world.

Join us for High Tea and a discussion of this incredible book at Petals & Jackets, a one-stop boutique to fill your lifestyle including vintage and new clothing, jewelry, art, and home goods.

As is always with the case with the start to Chicago summer, the weather is unpredictable! Our intention is to host High Tea outside in Petals & Jackets lovely courtyard, but if the weather doesn't cooperate, we will shift our discussion inside at Engine Coffee, located directly next door to P&J.

The ticket price includes beverages and light, tea-party-inspired bites. Petals & Jackets will be offering 10% off all in-store purchases during the event, and we've got a few other surprises up our sleeves, too!
