It’s still a Black Ass Event—just rooted a little deeper this time.
Join us on Saturday, July 5th for a powerful evening of curated spoken word, community energy, and intentional joy—hosted outdoors at Nuk&Granny Farm, a Black-owned urban garden space in the heart of Englewood.
This is more than a show. It’s a love note to the culture, a throwback expression session, and a gathering for grown folks who know how to hold space—with care, class, and presence.
Expect a handpicked lineup of lyricists and truth-tellers, a curated vibe full of 90s nostalgia, and a setting where love, peace, and Black joy take center stage.
🪑 Mixed seating will be available, but feel free to bring a blanket or something cozy to sit on.
🎒 Dress code? Think 90s—bamboo earrings, throwback tees, denim, and flavor.
🌱 Nuk&Granny Farm offers a space that feels like home—rooted in land, legacy, and care for community.
🅿️ Free street parking is available on Lowe Ave, just east of the farm.
📝 This is an 18+ event and registration is required.
Whether you’re coming to vibe, reflect, speak, or just soak it all in—this space was built with intention. Come ready to experience something beautiful.
This event is presented as part of Platform 63’s ongoing exhibition, We Are All Artists—a celebration of creative identity, storytelling, and Black expression.
While this event is off-site from the main exhibition venue, it carries the same energy of reflection, community, and voice.
