ASNA Green Waste Event

ASNA's Green Waste Event is open to ALL Alta Sierra residents for the purpose of removing hazardous vegetation and prepare their properties ahead of fire season. Funded by Nevada County and planned in partnership with WM of Nevada County, CALFIRE, Nevada County Consolidated Fire District and Nevada County Department of Public Works.

APPROVED ITEMS:
· landscape trimmings
· leaves
·grass clippings
· shrubs
· untreated wood
· flowers
· logs & branches up to 4' in length and up to 18" in diameter

SEPARATE BIN AVAILABLE FOR:
· scotch broom

PROHIBITED ITEMS:
· TRASH
· food/animal waste
· dirt/rock
· concrete & asphalt
· painted/treated wood
· construction debris
· palm fronds
· ice plants (succulents)
· blackberry
· poison oak
· stumps
· yucca plants
· cactus
· sod
