The Steampunk Brew Works Pinewood Derby returns due to popular demand! Join us for the second annual SBWPD. This unique event blends childhood nostalgia, adult beverages, and exciting, gravity-powered racing. The Steampunk Brew Works Pinewood Derby is sure to combine handcrafted engineering, high-speed thrills, and a healthy dose of competition!
21+, $10 per car entry. See your bartender to register and for more details.

Info: Car specifications:
-max. length shall not exceed 7-inches.
-max. width (including wheels and axles) shall not exceed 2-3/4-inches.
-max. height shall not exceed 5-inches (measured from bottom of wheels).
-max. Weight shall not exceed 5 oz (Note: This changed from last year)
-min. clearance between the bottom of car and bottom of wheels when placed on a flat surface shall be NO LESS than 3/8-inch
-min. width between the inside surfaces of the wheels shall be 1-3/4-inches so the car will clear the center track guide.
-The front of the car that rests on the starting pin shall be flat and must not be narrower than 3/8-inch in width.
-No mechanical propulsion allowed (no motors, fans, dead-blow weights, etc).
-Wheel bearings, washers, and bushings are prohibited.
-No lubricating oil may be used. Axles may be lubricated with powdered graphite or silicone.
-The car shall not ride on any kind of spring.
-The car must be free-wheeling, with no starting devices.
-No loose materials of any kind
Info: Cars will race in Swiss-system tournament style until a victor emerges!
Info: The after race party begins. Competitors of age can celebrate their victory or cry in their beer depending on which is appropriate. The party wraps up at 8 when karaoke begins.
