oin us on Saturday, June 28th with Oro Solido - "El Presidente" Raul Acosta widely recognized as one of the most popular merengue groups from the late '90s / early 21st century. Residing in New Jersey but comprised entirely of Puerto Rican and Dominican musicians, Oro Solido or “Solid Gold” in Eglish, released their self-titled debut in 1994, which became an immediate hit with the merengue smash single "Esta Cache." Further releases soon followed, including dance hits "La Tanga," "El Vacilón," and "Las Mujeres Quieren Machos”, just to name a few.
There will be a live opening set by Alex Alex - "El Negro De La Bachata" and his 7 piece band.
Sounds by DJ Jonathan, Cano, Benny Love, and June Aviles to round out the festivities.
