About our Fence for Fiona Fundraiser
Fiona likely spent the past six years as a breeding mama, confined to a room, never knowing the simple joy of grass beneath her paws or love from a human hand. When she was no longer “useful,” she was discarded.
Terrified of the world outside, Fiona has slowly started to heal in the care of a kind and patient foster family. After months of love, patience and practice, she’s showing her true self—a gentle, affectionate soul who just wants to be close, to be safe, and to be loved.
Fiona has also discovered joy through companionship with other dogs. In fact, not only does Fiona light up when with another dog, she takes confidence from the other dog which in turn helps her truly enjoy the joy and affection from the humans in her company.
What Fiona needs is a secure, fenced yard—a place where she can play with and enjoy the company of another dog safely. Fiona’s fence will also be a lifeline for the next scared soul who comes through our rescue doors to be fostered with this family.
Please help us give Fiona—and dogs like her—the freedom, safety, and peace they’ve never known but have always deserved. 🐾💕
