(Yes, the chap with the mighty moustache you’ve seen on the telly.)
This one-day workshop is your gateway to the Level 1: Certified Cider Guide (CCG) qualification – part of the internationally recognised Certified Cider Professional (CCP) programme, the world’s leading cider education standard.
Whether you’re behind the bar, repping brands, running tastings, or just properly passionate about great cider, this training is designed to give you a professional edge in understanding, evaluating, and presenting cider with confidence.
What to expect on the day:
• A guided tour through the CCG syllabus, including apples & orchards, cider styles, flavour profiles, evaluation techniques, serving best practices, and food pairing insights.
• A structured sensory session featuring at least three ciders to taste and assess like a pro.
• A laid-back, interactive atmosphere with plenty of room for questions, chat, and cider nerdery.
Participants will also receive a downloadable study guide and access to the online exam in advance, giving you the tools to prep at your own pace before the big day.
