Rethinking Refugees is an initiative focused on humanising the refugee experience through knowledge and action. By spreading awareness and challenging dominant narratives the collective aims to create space for empathy education and solidarity with displaced communities.
On World Refugee Day Coming Friday Rethinking Refugees and Uncalled Knacks is organising an Open Mic Night at Aura Studios T Nagar. The theme — “The Home Within Us” — invites reflection on how those forced to flee continue to carry home in memories music language and resistance.
