108 Sun Salutations - Summer Solstice Celebration

Celebrate the first day of Summer with us!

We’re gathering for a powerful community practice: 108 Sun Salutations to honor the sun and embrace the energy of the season.

In the yogic tradition, 108 is an auspicious number:
1 represents unity, 0 represents emptiness, and 8 symbolizes infinity.
There are 108 energy lines (nadis) that converge at the heart center.
108 is considered the number of wholeness, connecting the individual to the universe.
The number 108 also relates to the 54 letters of the Sanskrit alphabet, which are doubled (54 x 2 = 108) and represent the duality of existence.

We'll move through four rounds of 27 Sun Salutations, with breaks in between to rest, hydrate, and reconnect.

This moving meditation will uplift your spirit, reset your energy, and open you to all the light and possibility of summer.
