We Have Always Been Here: A Celebration of Diversity in Leather

Join us for our second annual Leather Pride event, in collaboration with Soft Animal and with a special exhibit of materials from the Carter Johnson Leather Library Atlanta Annex. This year, we want to focus on celebrating diversity, equity, and inclusion. Now more than ever, our community needs spaces for historically marginalized communities to come together and experience joy.

The Leather community has always been a space for those who defy mainstream norms. This event will highlight Leatherfolk of all races, genders, body types, abilities, and backgrounds. By honoring and centering these diverse voices, the community becomes a richer, more dynamic space where power, play, and intimacy can be explored with respect, mutual care, and solidarity.

Our full schedule will be announced shortly, but the day will include talks on Leather history with an emphasis on diversity, instruction in leather care, a cigar social, a silent auction, vendors and more.

We encourage adults (21+) from all walks of life to come learn about the important history of BDSM and Leather Culture, whether you are a long-standing member of the community or just curious.

While all of our events are safe spaces, we want to emphasize that this event is focused on providing community education during Pride Month for historically marginalized communities and allies. As always, identities and pronouns must be respected and any hatred will not be tolerated. If you have any concerns about accessibility, please reach out to us directly. There is a ramp on the side of the building for those who are not able to access the building using steps.

Dress code: No nudity allowed. Please dress vanilla, but feel free to wear your Leather or anything you feel most comfortable in!
