After this class you will be able to:
Use herbal remedies with confidence.
Discern which herbs to work with.
Prepare and administer herbal remedies to support pregnancy, labor, postpartum and breastfeeding.
Understand the importance of plant relationship in herbalism.
Info: This presentation is adapted from the Step Up! Bystander Intervention Program, utilizing their model for intervention and barriers to intervention. All scenarios and graphics and talking points are original by the facilitators, unless otherwise stated. Participants will review bystander effect and barriers to intervention, the 5 D's of bystander intervention and how to implement some techniques involving racism and sexism in the healthcare field. Principles of intersectionality in healthcare will also be discussed along with resources for continued education.
