Second Saturday Workshop: Meander Sketchbook Journal with Liz Schneiders

Create a No-Sew Meander Sketchbook Journal. Learn how to make a simple travel sketchbook from a single sheet of paper. This journal is ideal for watercolors or pen and ink drawings. We will guide you in folding your "meander" pages, adding pockets, and attaching a decorative cover.
This sketchbook is easy to create and the perfect size for carrying with you.

We will supply heavy board stock for the covers, paper for the interior pages, and decorative papers to customize your cover. All necessary tools (scissors, glue, and brushes) and basic supplies will be provided. If you are new to book arts, this class offers a wonderful introduction to fundamental bookmaking skills.

Materials provided:

• Watercolor type paper - heavyweight in large sheets
• Pre-cut book board for the covers
• Decorative papers for the covers
• PVA glue
• Wax or parchment paper
• Newsprint to protect surfaces

Workshop Registration and Fees

• There is a $25/$30 registration fee for this workshop
• Registration for this workshop closes on Friday, July 11, 2025
• The fee includes materials and the use of tools during the session
• Need-based workshop fee assistance is available.
