The star of the night is Tina Shull, PhD, a guest professor and author who will unpack the critical history and impact of immigrant incarceration based on her book "Detention Empire: Who Built It and How We Can Dismantle It."
The tagline says it all: “Serious topics, big conversations, no lecture-hall vibe.” It's a night for community, learning, and liberation—served with a twist (literally and figuratively).
