🎉🇺🇸 Charlotte’s own Independence Day is turning 250! 🇺🇸🎉 We are celebrating MAY 17th!

On May 20, 1775, the Mecklenburg Declaration of Independence was (allegedly 😉) signed — making Charlotte one of the first places to declare freedom from British rule, even before the national Declaration!
We’re celebrating Meck Dec Day the only way we know how — with a massive parking lot party! 🎪🎶🐾
