“Ladies and gentlemen, get ready, because Live: From the Darkness 3 is coming to The Evening Muse on May 17th, and it’s gonna be an absolute slobberknocker of a roast battle show!
Hosting the action is a tag-team trio of Charlotte comedy favorites— Matt Hammy, Hank Silver, and Nathan Baker! And joining them at ringside as the guest host— YouTube, comedy and musical heavyweight, Paul Platt!
Our main event will feature the reigning, defending, inaugural Live: From the Darkness World Champion, Max Summers, who is stepping into the first ever roast battle gauntlet. Max will defend her title in a king of hill style elimination roast battle with 4 challengers who will have already survived a qualifying roast battle earlier in the night. Five enter, but only one will walk out with world championship gold!
But wait—there’s more! On the undercard, history will be made as the first-ever Live: From the Darkness Open Mic Champion is crowned in a tournament consisting of 4 former Two Buck Saloon Open Mic roast battle winners! These rising stars are ready to bring the heat to open the show!
This event will also feature the public unveiling of the Live: From the Darkness Championship belt collection, special guest referee Andrew Whittaker, and much much more!
