Whether you are single, engaged, or married, we invite you to examine the ingredients for a lasting marriage when author Dave Harvey returns to Parkside for a half-day Marriage Matters workshop on September 27.
Over the course of three sessions, Harvey will talk about starting together, sticking together, and ending together:
1. Sin (9am-9:45am) | Understand that brokenness stems from
other forces beyond sin (our bodies, upbringing, spiritual forces,
etc.), and learn to relate to one another with grace.
2. Sex (10am-10:45am) | Learn God’s good plan for sex in the
context of marriage.
3. Mercy (11am-12pm) | Discover how God’s rich mercy
empowers us to extend mercy to our spouse.
Saying “I do” does not stop after the wedding; married couples must choose to say “I do” to each other every day afterward. Couples of all stages will find something they can learn about the core principles that define a biblical marriage, and even singles can benefit from learning more about this unique relationship God designed.
