First Hike! Cedar Homeschool Hiking Club Kickoff – Heart of Cedar Springs Park

🌲 Join us for the kickoff of the Cedar Homeschool Hiking Club! We're launching the season with an easy, family-friendly hike on the White Pine Trail, starting at Heart of Cedar Springs Park.

This is the perfect first meetup to get to know each other, introduce the hiking club, and enjoy time outdoors with other local homeschool families.

💡 What to Expect:
A casual, out-and-back hike on the paved White Pine Trail

All ages welcome — stroller and wagon friendly!

Optional picnic lunch after the hike — bring a blanket or use the nearby tables

Bathroom access inside the library (during open hours)

Bring water, sun protection, and comfy shoes

📌 Details:
🕙 Meet at 10:00 AM at the library parking lot entrance to the park
🚶 We’ll start the hike by 10:15 AM
🥪 Feel free to stay afterward for lunch and free play in the grassy area

You do NOT need to be a member of Cedar Homeschool Co-op to attend—this group is open to all homeschool families in Cedar Springs, Rockford, North GR, and surrounding areas.
