Terra Divina

On Saturday, June 21, from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m., we invite you to a gathering at the Indian Creek Nature Center, located at 5300 Otis Rd., Cedar Rapids. This event, inspired by Thomas Aquinas' quote, "Sacred writings are bound in two volumes — those of creation and that of Holy Scripture," focuses on practicing terra divina, a divine reading of the Book of Creation. Attendees will have the opportunity to tune into the season, explore independently, and share in bread and herbal tea as we close our time together. Please plan to arrive a few minutes early, as we will meet on the patio near the building to start promptly at 2:00 p.m. Be sure to dress in appropriate layers for the weather and remember to bring sun and bug protection.
