Sunday Music with Trace Johnson, Cellist, & Sahada Buckley, Violinist, at the EHPF, Valton, WI

Come enjoy beautiful afternoon music at the Painted Forest on the last Sunday in July - July 27th from 1pm to 3pm. Free Concert & Open to the Public!

The acoustics in the painted forest are vibrant and work well with string instruments. you will enjoy this rich performance by Trace Johnson & Sahada Buckley in the Ernest Hupeden's Painted Forest.

Trace plays works from his newly released CD 'Works for Cello' - a meticulously-equilibrated mix of old and new classical cello compositions. Violinist Sahada Buckley, who performs on the CD, will join Trace in a not to be missed performance of a haunting work by Erwin Schulhoff.

About Trace: Dr. Trace Johnson is a cellist from Madison, Wisconsin. Trace has appeared as a chamber musician, soloist, and orchestral musician in a wide variety of ensembles and settings around the world. Equally at home teaching in the studio or performing on stage, Trace is a devoted and thoughtful communicator who enjoys a varied career as a cellist, teacher, and musician.
