Chris has over 20+ years experience in the music industry, having studied a Bachelor of Music at Lismore University, he has gone on to share the stage with many incredible acts such as The Living End, Thirsty Merc, British India, The Reubens, Kingswood, Alpine, Hockey Dad, The Strides and more, while touring nationally and internationally as singer/bassist to The Spindrift Saga, alongside drummer Danny Freeman and guitarist brother Mick McGrath.
The Spindrift Saga have kept Chris busy since the release of their debut album 'Badnormous' in 2016 and have recently released their sophomore album 'Rubble & Stone'. Between touring and recording, Chris performs as a solo artist, in various duos and other bands, as well as running his own local recording studio 'Samurai Studios'.
SMOKEY SATURDAYS are free entry music sessions held in the Smokey Dan’s courtyard every Saturday from 12-3pm. These unique events feature some of the best performers from the local area and beyond. Experience an amazing variety of music performed by solo artists, duos, and bands from a broad range of genres including rock, pop, blues, folk, country and more. While you listen enjoy a delicious meal from Smokey Dan’s incredible menu.
Smokey Saturdays are free entry and family friendly.
