For our fist Overlanding trip, we will be doing a scouting trip . We will meet at the bridge of the gods on the Oregon side . The official starting point of the BDR . At 7 AM on August 11, our route will should take 5 to 6 days depending on our progress We will be driving roughly 369 miles offroad and close to 600 miles in total. I'm looking forward to seeing you put your rigs through there paces, and having a lot of fun there are several cool things we will check out along the way.

The BDR is broken down in 6 sections , mostly in 100-mile groups. BDR Trip
Section 1
Starts in Stevenson WA at the bridge of the gods, and ends in Packwood. On and offroad sections (119 miles and 92 of it is offroad). We will be camping in this section. Easy drive gravel dirt maybe a few obstacles.

Section 2
Starts in Packwood and ends in Ellensburg. This section is (122 miles and 68 of that is offroad) Second day of trip we will be camping in this section. This section climbs to 6,000 ft of elevation and has ruts and steep inclines and declines there are drive arounds we will be checking out. This section will go much slower.

Section 3
Starts in Ellensburg and ends in Cashmere. This section is only (59 miles and 13 is offroad), This section is manly gravel, dirt, and unkept asphalt roads. Subject to weather may find muddy slick roads where traction devices and shovels needed , but if dry simple offroad vehicle will do fine. We will not be camping in this section, as we will do both section 3 and 4 in thew same day.

Section 4
Starts in Cashmere and ends in Lake Chelan (100 miles and 63 is offroad) due to controlled burns and it being an active forestry land is expecting route changes. We will be camping in this section. Roads passable by all offroad vehicles.

Section 5
Starts in Chelan and ends in Comcomly (103 mile and 67 is offroad) This section supplies, and fuel is less available so we will stock up in lake Chelan. The further we go north the more remote the area. Expect steep slick roads and inclines, reasons. drive and good tire are a must. We will be camping in this section ( party camp as the next leg is short and we will be done ,

Section 6
Starts in Conconully and end at the Canadian Border(66 miles of offroad Manely downhill into nighthawk)
Trails in this section are:
skull and crossbones road
Then we ended the trip at the border due a vehicle check make sure everyone's rigs are good to go, and convoy home.
Special note
You are responsible for your own rigs matinence, and it is important to have a mechanic check your rig before you go on a overlanding trip.)
REQUIREMENTS TO GO
All participants should have (recovery gear, a med kit, your own food and water camping gear, and road clearing gear as well as Gmrs radios . Plus, a full-size spare tire ready to go if you have a blow out as well as a fix a flat if you have more than one. These are the requirements to go on this trip. We will be going through the rigs at the start to see everyone is ready.
