Nature Painting Class at Timber! Outdoor Music Festival

"I can't paint" & "I am a terrible artist" are phrases I have heard individuals say way too many times in my life. I know that folks believe this, but it just isn't a truth I believe in. I believe that we all have the ability to give ourselves a break from that inner voice and just allow ourselves to experience art as a process. I wholeheartedly believe that there is no right or wrong way in how we experience and express art because as long as it isn't hurting anyone then it has got to be right! Join me as we hang out at the Art Shelter on the West Side of the walking bridge, listen to some music and make some art together. No judgements, no rules, just a chill easy time of self expression, self exploration and a break from overthinking things. I will provide art supplies and some advice and suggestions if needed, but the point of this is to just enjoy the art making process and walk away with a memento of our moments spent making art together in the woods at Timberfest! - Teacher J9
