This place is located in Port Talbot, close to Glyncorrwg. If you want a more vibrant scene and want to party, Tipi Wales is the best option for camping near Cardiff. This is because the site is located right across a pub, which welcomes many stag and hen parties all around the year. Tipi Wales is located in Ogmore Farm, in Ogmore.
Wales is such a scenic country, and there are many day trips from Cardiff that you can take which is sure to feel amazing. The Brecon Beacons National Park located near Cardiff is the most visited national park in the nation, and it is only 37 kilometers to the north of the city. You should check out the place if you love a quaint, beautiful experience. The Snowdonia National Park is located farther away, and is a 2.5-hour drive from the city – however, you can climb the mountains there for some expansive views of the Welsh countryside. You can even get to the top of the mountains using the railway system if you book your tickets in advance.
